University of Windsor Program

The Aeronautics Leadership Program at the University of Windsor was developed in response to the growing demand for pilots and leaders in aviation and aerospace. Working in partnership with industry, we have gathered together a team of highly qualified instructors who draw upon their knowledge and years of experience to deliver an academic program that offers excellence in the classroom and in the field. Located at Windsor International Airport (YQG), our program also offers unique professional networking and employment opportunities for our graduates.

Journey Air will provide you with the knowledge and training required to become a Licensed Commercial Pilot with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating, following three years of study.  Journey Air relies heavily on technology to reduce the costs associated with training, e.g. the use of Computer Based Training (CBT). The fourth year is used for advanced training, where you will be trained using a facilitated learning approach to course work – such as Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Multi Crew Coordination (MCC).
